Kern Microtechnik GmbH from Eschenlohe and Wohlhaupter GmbH Präzisionswerkzeuge from Frickenhausen launched a strategic collaboration early this year.
The solution for your specific diameter
Customers express high satisfaction with Wohlhaupter in terms of product quality, service and personal support.
The AMB 2012 was again a complete success. Both the exhibitors and the public appeared highly satisfied with the event. The visitors surged to the event in droves from the very first day. This image will remain in exhibitors' minds for some time to come. With around 90,000 visitors, the AMB affirmed and further enhanced its reputation as one of the most important trade fairs in the industry.
In the tenth year of Wohlhaupter Corp.'s existence, Wohlhaupter again took part in the IMTS, which was a resounding success. With more than 100,000 visitors, it was the most visited Chicago Show since the year 2000.
There’s no ignoring it: the digitization of precision boring tools strides relentlessly forward – and Wohlhaupter is leading the way. All over the world, users have recognized that maximum precision, the lowest possible reject rate, user friendliness and process reliability in production sites around the globe are indispensable. And precisely these features are the hallmarks of Wohlhaupter’s generation of tools with integrated digital display. With its large, comprehensive range of digital precision boring tools, the innovative family business can rightly claim to be the “World leader in digital boring tools”.
The two companies Stama and Wohlhaupter have been allied in a close partnership for decades. On the occasion of the Stama Maschinenfabrik Open House from March 20 to 23, the technology partner Wohlhaupter presented its products to interested visitors in Schlierbach.
Wohlhaupter exhibited its latest innovations and proven technologies at the METAV Trade Fair in Düsseldorf from February 28 to March 3, 2012.
Wohlhaupter expands its product range with two new high-performance insert drills. The VHM insert drills D105 and D110 guarantee maximum machining performance over a wide range of applications.
These new, high-performance, fine-grain carbide drills with integrated cooling are available in popular diameters and two lengths – for relative boring depths to approx. 5xD (D105) and approx. 10xD (D110). Both insert drills feature 4-facet cutting with straight main cutting edges, and are pointed nearly to the center. This results in excellent centering behavior and significantly lower cutting and feed forces. This means that the D110 can also drill directly into solid material without pre-centering. Greater accuracy can be attained with a small center or a pilot hole, however. The tip angle should be at least 140° in this case.
That the precision boring tools from the 510 high-speed digital series presented at the EMO Trade Fair would garner great interest was already clear in Hanover. However, even the most ardent optimists had not imagined how popular these tools would turn out to be around the world.
